Terms of Service & Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This page describes how JS NextGen Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”), operating from Poland at jsns.eu, collects and uses your information and the terms under which you may use our website, member area, and products — including JS Like Box Slider and related hosted API services. By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
We take your privacy seriously. We collect only the information needed to run accounts, billing, and support. We do not sell your personal data, we do not run third-party advertising on our member areas, and we do not share member details with unrelated parties. We may send service-related emails (account notices, releases, policy updates). You can unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time.
Part A — Privacy Policy
1. Who is responsible for your data?
The data controller is JS NextGen Solutions, Poland. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact us via This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or your member-area support channel.
2. What information we collect
Depending on how you use jsns.eu, we may process:
- Account data: name, email address, username, password (stored hashed), and membership status.
- Billing data: plan selected, invoices, payment status, and transaction references. Card numbers are not stored on our servers; they are entered on secure checkout pages operated by our payment provider.
- Usage data: API key identifiers, associated site domains, monthly page-view counts, feed requests, and technical logs needed to enforce plan limits and keep the service secure.
- Support data: messages, tickets, and information you choose to send when requesting help.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, timestamps, and cookies required for login, security, and basic site operation.
- Social feed content: when you configure social tabs, our systems fetch and cache public content from third-party platforms (such as Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and others) on your behalf so the Joomla module can display it. We process this content only to provide the service you requested.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
3. Why we use your data (legal bases)
Under the GDPR, we rely on:
- Contract — to create your account, deliver downloads, provide API access, and bill your subscription.
- Legitimate interests — to secure our systems, prevent abuse, measure aggregate usage, and improve our products.
- Legal obligation — where required for tax, accounting, or compliance.
- Consent — for optional marketing emails, where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time.
4. Payment information
Paid plans are processed through our payment provider at checkout. We do not store full credit-card numbers on jsns.eu servers. We may receive limited billing details (for example, transaction ID, payment status, or partial card information from the processor) for refunds, fraud prevention, and accounting.
5. How we share information
We share data only when necessary to run the service:
- Payment processors — to complete transactions.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — to operate jsns.eu and our API.
- Email delivery providers — to send account and service messages.
- Authorities — if required by applicable law, court order, or to protect our rights and users.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.
6. Cookies and logs
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions such as keeping you logged in, remembering preferences, and protecting accounts. Some cookies are session-based; others may persist until they expire or you clear them. You can use most public pages without cookies, but the member area and checkout require them.
We log IP addresses and technical events for security, troubleshooting, and aggregate statistics. Logs are not routinely linked to marketing profiles.
7. Data retention
We keep account and billing records for as long as your membership is active and for a reasonable period afterward, as required for support, disputes, tax, and legal compliance. Usage logs are retained only as long as needed for metering, security, and service operation, then deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA (including Poland), you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- request deletion where applicable;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- data portability where technically feasible;
- withdraw consent for optional marketing;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
To exercise these rights, contact us through This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. We may ask you to verify your identity before making changes.
9. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside the EU. Where this occurs, we use appropriate safeguards permitted under GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses or providers certified under recognised frameworks.
10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Part B — Terms of Service
11. Services covered
These terms apply to:
- the jsns.eu website and member area;
- Joomla extensions published by JS NextGen Solutions, including JS Like Box Slider;
- hosted API services that deliver social feeds, usage metering, and related features tied to your API key.
12. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account should not be shared between unrelated organisations unless we agree otherwise in writing.
13. Plans, limits, and fair use
Access levels depend on your active membership plan. Current published limits include:
- Free — 200 page views per month, 1 widget (1 site / API key).
- Basic — 5,000 page views per month, up to 3 widgets (3 sites).
- Pro — 50,000 page views per month, up to 9 widgets (9 sites).
- Premium — 150,000 page views per month, up to 21 widgets (21 sites).
A “widget” means one Joomla site using one API key. Plans may be billed monthly or yearly as shown on our pricing page. If you exceed your limits, we may serve cached content, show an upgrade notice, or throttle API access according to the product behaviour published at the time. Attempts to circumvent limits, share API keys beyond your plan, or abuse the API may result in suspension.
14. License to the Joomla extension
Our Joomla extensions are distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) where applicable. You may modify the extension for your own site, but you may not remove or misrepresent copyright notices. You may not claim exclusive ownership of our unmodified or modified software. All products remain the property of JS NextGen Solutions.
15. Subscriptions, renewals, and upgrades
- Paid plans are subscriptions that renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Prices, features, and plan limits are described on our website at the time of purchase.
- Upgrades take effect according to the checkout or member-area upgrade flow; charges may be prorated by our billing system.
- Downgrades, if offered, typically take effect at the next renewal unless stated otherwise at checkout.
16. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your member area or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals only. Your paid plan and API access remain active until the end of the current billing period. After that date, your account moves to the limits of your then-current plan (for example, Free tier limits if no other active plan applies).
The Joomla extension already installed on your server may continue to function locally, but live feeds, higher limits, downloads of new releases, and priority support depend on an active eligible membership.
17. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use our services for unlawful content or activity;
- resell or sublicense API access outside your plan limits;
- interfere with or overload our systems;
- misrepresent your affiliation with JS NextGen Solutions;
- use the service in a way that violates third-party platform terms (social networks, payment providers, etc.).
18. Availability and changes
We aim to keep jsns.eu and the API available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party outages (including social networks), or force majeure may cause temporary disruption. We may update extensions, APIs, and plan limits with reasonable notice where practicable.
19. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by Polish and applicable EU law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profits, or issues caused by third-party software on your site (templates, plugins, server configuration, etc.). Our total liability for any claim relating to a subscription is limited to the amount you paid us for that subscription in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where law does not allow such limitation.
Part C — Refund Policy
20. Refunds (first payment only)
We stand behind our products. Refunds are available only for your first payment on a paid plan, and only if requested within 7 days of that payment. Renewal charges, upgrade charges, and subsequent billing periods are non-refundable, except where required by mandatory consumer law.
We may approve a refund when:
- you report a reproducible defect in our extension or API service and we cannot resolve it within 7 days of your support ticket; or
- you have not substantially used the paid service beyond reasonable testing (for example, minimal API usage and no bad-faith download-then-refund pattern).
We may refuse a refund if:
- the request is made after 7 days from the first payment;
- you downloaded the product and claim non-delivery without contacting us first;
- you did not read the plan description and request a refund because features you did not review are missing;
- the issue is caused by conflicts with third-party templates, extensions, or server configuration outside our control;
- we detect abuse of the refund policy.
To request a refund, contact us via This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your account email and order details.
Part D — Technical Support
21. Support scope
Support is provided for accounts with an active paid subscription, within the site/widget limits of your plan. Free-plan users receive community-level help through public channels where offered.
We typically respond within 48 business hours. Weekend and holiday replies may take longer. Support covers installation and use of our extension and API according to published documentation. We are not obliged to customise the product for individual requirements; custom work may be quoted separately. Feature requests may be submitted via support; we decide roadmap priorities at our discretion.
Part E — Communications
22. Email and newsletters
By creating an account, you agree to receive transactional messages (registration, billing, security, and service notices). If you opt in to product news, we may email you about releases, updates, and offers. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each message or by contacting us.
Our mailing principles:
- we do not sell email lists;
- we keep list data secure;
- marketing frequency is reasonable (typically no more than a few messages per month);
- every marketing email includes a valid unsubscribe option.
23. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence if you are an EU consumer. Disputes should first be raised with us through This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. so we can try to resolve them informally.
